Upcycle a can into a whimsical patio lantern.

This simple craft turns ordinary waste into a personalized lantern for your front porch, balcony, yard, or even indoors.

Materials will be provided but we may run low on hammers so you may want to bring your own if you have one handy!

At the swap, you can either drop off items, bring home new items for free, or both!

-Divert money from for-profit thrift stores like Value Village

-Prepare for a little one's arrival without breaking the bank

-Connect with other parents and maybe make a new friend!

-Be able to take your kid "shopping" where they can pick out anything they want without having to worry about a price tag

-Make a day of it with a nice day out and a treat from the cafe to top it off

This Training offers free resources supporting the prevention and disruption of human trafficking so you can stop the spread of this human rights abuse in our province. ACT’s free educational programs are designed for individuals, allies, companies, and front-line responders. These sessions provide participants with the skills to accurately identify human trafficking and respond safely. Education saves lives. We’ve found a direct link between the number of education sessions and the increase in client referrals to our Pathways to Safety program.
