Baby + Kids Stuff Swap
Sunday, May 31st - 11am to 2pm
Rehome what your little one has outgrown, take home something new.
At the swap, you can either drop off items, bring home new items for free, or both!
Here's why you should:
-Declutter your home from things your little one has outgrown or isn't interested in anymore
-"Shop" sustainably by using pre-loved items instead of buying new
-Save money by getting stuff for free!
-Divert money from for-profit thrift stores like Value Village
-Participate in the circular economy, sharing with your community members and keeping items local
-Find an eco-friendly gift for an upcoming baby shower or birthday party
-Prepare for a little one's arrival without breaking the bank
-Connect with other parents and maybe make a new friend!
-Be able to take your kid "shopping" where they can pick out anything they want without having to worry about a price tag
-Make a day of it with a nice day out and a treat from the cafe to top it off

Human Trafficking Prevention & Disruption Training
Wednesday, June 17th at 6pm
This Training offers free resources supporting the prevention and disruption of human trafficking so you can stop the spread of this human rights abuse in our province. ACT’s free educational programs are designed for individuals, allies, companies, and front-line responders. These sessions provide participants with the skills to accurately identify human trafficking and respond safely. Education saves lives. We’ve found a direct link between the number of education sessions and the increase in client referrals to our Pathways to Safety program.
Be the first defense against human trafficking.
