Happy New Year!

Hope everyone is having a healthy start to the year.

In January, we hosted 4B Harm Reduction Society’s Community First Aid 101 Cold Weather with a great turnout and look forward to doing it again in the future!

We also had a visit from SAFE Team Rescue for their craft and vegan bake sale, with proceeds going toward caring for adoptable kitties waiting for their forever homes.

ICYMI - what’s new at the co-op?

New Hours: We are now open on Tuesdays! We will be experimenting with our hours some more and seeing what fits us and you best. Our current hours are Tuesday-Sunday 11am-6pm.

New Food Items: We are now carrying a selection of vegan tarts by our friend, the King of Tarts himself! The flavours currently available include strawberry rhubarb, ube, butter pecan, and butter raisin.

Samosas! Served up hot with a splash of mango chutney.

Lastly, soup! Currently available are Borscht and Chili.

Although we have limited space on our shelves, we are still able to source many familiar products from our suppliers and want to pass on savings to you when you place a case order! Some products can also be purchased just one at a time. If you’re not sure if we can get a product in or want to know how much it will cost before you place your order, you can submit a product inquiry and we will get back to you with some answers. Head to our website or fill out a paper slip next time you visit!

Repair Cafe Saturday, February 21 11:00am-3:00pm

Earth’s Refillery Coop, 10831 95st NW

We will have a team of handy volunteers set up at the store to assist with basic mending and repairs to clothing including knitwear, other textiles, small furniture, and small appliances! They can show you how to repair or guide you through repairing the item yourself! One item per person please, but hang onto your other damaged pieces for a future repair cafe event!
