ERC is pleased to invite you to our first AGM since opening! Come help us celebrate our first year in business and strategize about the year to come. Please arrive early so everyone has time to register, settle in, and get their voting cards. Note that 1 membership = one vote so if you and your partner have been sharing a membership, please decide which person will be voting. Call for Nominations and Nominations ProcessAre you interested in joining ERC’s Board of Directors as our new Consumer Member Representative? About the seat: We reserve one seat on our board for someone to represent the interests of the consumer membership, elected by the consumer members who attend the AGM. The other seats are filled by Worker Members. Term length is one year, with the ability to stand for re-election. About the position & role: The board of directors meets when major decisions must be made about the business and operations of the store. The Consumer Member Representative’s role is to advocate for the broader consumer membership’s interests and add diversity to the perspectives of the board. The Board’s role is to ensure both the store and our co-operative are viable and sustainable. The board oversees operations of the store, keeping our values and co-op principles at the forefront. Eligibility: Any member of Earth’s Refillery Coop who is 18 or older, of sound mind, and does not have the status of bankrupt is eligible for election.
