Where we’re atIf you’ve walked past our windows in the last few weeks, you will have seen that things are coming together and we are looking like a real cafe, coffee roaster, and bulk store. Our chimney installation is complete, but the roaster is still not quite ready to run. In the meantime, we’ve ordered some fantastic roasted coffee from Ethical Bean that will hold us over until we can start roasting our own blends. Our shelves and bulk bins are getting full. The photos below will give a tiny sneak preview of what’s in stock so far. Our brand new shiny espresso machine is itching to be used! We’ve also found a group of really amazing folks who will be joining our team and we’re so so so excited to have them on board! Proper introductions will happen eventually but in the meantime, you will see all of us working at the coop! Two of the last things we are waiting on are our payment terminals which have taken over a month so far to get our hands on (frustrating), and our final city inspection which is taking place on November 4th. If all goes well, our grand opening will be soon to follow!! Wish us luck!
